Everyone needs a coach, including me. I have a wide range of musical experiences that demand that I adapt all that I learned in my formative years of study to the needs in the present. When I find a locked door within my technique or ability to interpret styles, I seek out experts to help me find the key. What I discovered is that the individual can be the best teacher to themselves, once they find the right tools. I want to share these experiences and methods with you.

I will use all Fundamentals of Trumpet to help you identity your strengths and weaknesses. Using those as targets, we can craft a practice plan that is efficient, improves your weaknesses, bolsters your strengths, and builds confidence in your playing. I offer online lessons over Zoom, in-person at my Bethany College studio (Lindsborg, KS) and in-person within 30 miles of zip code 67410 (Abilene, Kansas). PDFs of any assigned material can be provided, if you don’t have the music. I will also share a digital lesson tracker that will archive your progress and help you prepare for your next lesson.
